The Ford Styling Awards recognizes excellence in the application of new and innovative products, superior interior and exterior finish, fine craftsmanship, and the integration of aftermarket products on a Ford vehicle. This truck, appropriately named "Big Bird"  for its bright yellow hue and long-legged Kelderman lift kit, was built by Extreme Performance in Palm City, FL.  The Kelderman lift rides comfortably at an impressive 10-12 inches and can push the big Ford to a 15 inch height when on display. In addition to the Kelderman lift, Big Bird makes a big sound with a complete Alpine sound system featuring Alpines's W200 head unit with sound processor, and Blackbird Navigation, the latest PDX amps, Type X speakers, and three Type X subs. If that isn't loud enough for you, Extreme performance installed a custom triple train horn system! This truck has more than 150 man hours put into this truck! The interior has been customized as well with fiberglassed door panels, bits of the interior painted yellow to complement the exterior. A center console was fabricated for the speakers, subwoofers and amps. The truck has a Bed Rug installed. Air Zenith air compressors were installed for the truck and to run the truck's triple train horn set up. Chrome tanks were installed on the sides of the bed to run the air bags. Underneath, Chrome pieces were added to the undercarriage bars, The truck has 40" Nitto Mud Grappler tires and 22" KMC Badland wheels. This diesel truck has a custom MBRP dual-exhaust system from the turbo back. The truck also has an A2 monitor by Edge products that's had some software upgrades since the projects completion. The modifications have added 150 HP and about 270 ft./lbs. of torque.
